How we use your information
Naitbabies (we, us and our in this notice) are a CIO Foundation for the severe bleeding disorder Fetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. We are registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, registered number 1161698. This privacy notice tells you what to expect when we collect personal information. We are committed to only making responsible use of your personal information.
Secure connection
Our website www.naitbabies.org is a secure site. All information that you send and receive is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer connection (SSL). SSL creates a secure link between your browser and our server. You will always know when you are using a secure connection because a padlock icon is displayed on the status bar of your browser. We do not currently hold any personal information on our site. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website in the future we will make it clear when and will explain what we intend to do with it. We will not hold this information longer than necessary to complete our task.
Visitors to our website
We use a third party service, Google Analytics to collect data about website usage such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This data does not include personally identifiable information. We do not make, or allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. WordPress
We use a third party service WordPress to manage our NAIT blog which is run by Automattic Inc. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the site, e.g. the number of users viewing pages on the site, to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it. Survey Information
We are currently using a third party tool, Survey Monkey to seek feedback from users only in ways that will be beneficial to our aims and objectives (e.g. supporting research), as registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, United Kingdom. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information we will make it clear why we need it and we will explain what we intend to do with it. We will not publicly identify anyone, and we will not make any attempt to publicly identify anyone from the information we collect. We will only keep personal information for as long as necessary to complete our research. Then all personal information will be deleted. Merchandise
We use our eBay and PayPal Charity account to sell Naitbabies charity merchandise only. We do not host buyer’s personal information on our website. We do not target or direct market buyers.

Security
We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.
People who email us
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. E-mail unless encrypted is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we endeavor to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.
People who contact us via social media
If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be hosted by the social media company concerned, e.g. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram YouTube and Linkedin. Click the links to view their respective privacy policies. We will receive information from that service (such as your username, basic profile information, and friends list) via the authorisation procedures used by that service. The information we receive depends on which services you authorise and any options that are available.
Donations
Donations may be made by post or through our secure website connection directly to our bank or through our secure donation portals Virgin or BTMyDonate. We do not keep personal identification.
Use of cookies
If cookies are used they will only be used to assist the purposes set out in this privacy policy. Cookies will not be used if we do not consider them to be necessary. You can read more about how we use cookies on our Cookies page.

The Links within our website to other sites are not covered by this privacy notice. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy.
