SWAN UK is a project run by Genetic Alliance UK offering support and information to families of children with undiagnosed genetic conditions. Becky told the story of her son Ethan’s birth and how he was diagnosed with Nait, on SWAN UK’s blog thinking that maybe someone would recongnise the symptoms in their undiagnosed baby. This did in fact happen and parents Kellie Burville and Callum Cambell had their baby daughter Logan tested and she was found to have neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. This enabled doctors to give Logan treatment that saved her life.
