RAREfest22 has patients at its heart with science and technology running through its veins! Cambridge Rare Disease Network’s festival is back in person showcasing expert speakers, live podcasts, panel discussions hands-on exhibits and film from the world of science, tech, and advocacy.
Join us on 26th November at Cambridge Guildhall for an immersive experience including:-
Rishi Nag – Singing Science – Genomics The Musical – a one-person show combining the basics of Genetics and the impacts on the rare disease community, the show provides an engaging way to familiarise yourself with key concepts – fit for all ages.
Lucy McKay – Medics4Rare Diseases – Rare Disease Podcast 4 Medics is broadcasting a live recording at RAREFest featuring guests from across the rare disease community. Expect an equally heart-wrenching and heart-warming experience.

Illumina – The Cambridge DNA Journey – A visual map and timeline of the journey from discovery of DNA to the development and application of genetics and genomics to diagnostics and healthcare, in Cambridge.
Rare Youth Revolution – Join the RARE Youth Revolution for an immersive experience into the life of young people living with rare diseases and some invisible symptoms they experience. Talk to the team about internship opportunities for YP living with rare conditions.
