Stephanie and Dan Hewlett’s daughter Charlotte was born with NAIT in 2017, and diagnosed shortly after birth, with a platelet count of only 3k.
Steph said ”We had no idea about the condition, or just how lucky she had been.”
Steph’s father, Paul Templeton from Ipswich, Suffolk has very kindly donated all the proceeds of his photographic exhibition ‘Visions of Suffolk’ to NAIT babies, following his exhibition held over the summer at Hemmingstone Frames and Art Gallery, Stoneham Barns, Suffolk.
A total of 17 framed images were sold, showcasing Suffolk wildlife and landscapes. Along with donations into the charity bucket, just over £1,500 was raised. They also held an open evening to raise awareness of NAIT and many people donated directly through the website.
Steph said ”We are am immensely proud of what he has achieved!”
The family would also like to send their thanks to David Patrick at Hemmingstone Frames and Art Gallery, Stonham Barns, Stonham Aspel, Ipswitch for hosting the exhibition and framing the prints.
