Naitbabies took part in the Children’s Health Campaign being launched in Monday’s Guardian newspaper health supplement on 26 June, and extensively on-line throughout the year.
NAIT mum and midwife Heidi Stone told how the birth of her daughter, Jasmine 11, led to changing her career, becoming a qualified midwife and educating and spreading awareness about FNAIT.
The aims of the Campaign are to raise awareness with regard to children’s health and well being from birth to primary age and older. Focusing on the importance of vaccinations, allergies, encouraging active lifestyles and awareness of those living with children suffering with genetic illnesses. Treatment options and education as well as support available for families.
Reaching out to education and health-care professionals, pediatricians, parents and others who’s interests lie within children’s health.
