As part of our Midwives Campaign we exhibited a stand at the NEC Birmingham over 2 days on the 16-17 May. This was a massive event with over 6,000 attending!

This is our 4th exhibition and first for PCH. We have spoken to hundreds of midwives and other HCP’s about how to recognise signs (if present) in a newborn NAIT baby that would indicate a severely life threateningly low platelet count.

Thousands have seen our leaflets with information and the photo’s of petechiae, MRI’s and ultrasounds that our parents have provided – huge thanks to you all!.

We will be in Manchester at the Old Trafford Football Stadium on June 26 and Cardiff City Stadium, Wales on 20th September!!!! (www.maternityandmidwifery.co.uk/events/ )
