Interpretation/ Summary – ‘’our data suggest that, without intervention, the incidence of major clinically detectable bleeding in FNAIT is estimated as 11 (95% CI 0–32) per 10 000 HPA-1a-negative pregnancies. These findings imply that severe bleeding is a rare event that potentially could be prevented by a screening programme.’’
